FAQ

Questions, answered without hedging

Where the answer is no, it says no. Service-specific questions live on each service page.

General

About the company

What does Kanso IT actually do?+

Four things: ongoing managed IT support, security readiness assessments with remediation plans, fractional IT leadership, and multi-site standards and rollout support. Each has a dedicated page stating its boundaries.

What size company is this built for?+

US companies with roughly 50 to 300 employees that have outgrown informal support but are not ready to build a large internal IT department.

Is Kanso IT an established company?+

No. It is a new service brand. The site describes intended service scope and does not represent customer history, certifications, or guaranteed outcomes.

Why are there no testimonials or client logos?+

Because there is nothing truthful to show yet. Displaying borrowed or invented credibility would tell you something worse about us than an empty section does.

Scope

What we do and do not do

Do you offer 24/7 support?+

We do not claim always-staffed coverage. Coverage hours are defined in writing during scoping for each engagement.

Do you provide 24/7 threat monitoring or MDR?+

No. Continuous security operations is a specialized, always-staffed discipline. If that is your primary need, a dedicated MDR provider is the right choice, and the assessment will tell you so.

Is a security readiness assessment an audit or certification?+

No. It is an assessment and a remediation plan. We are not auditors, we do not issue certifications, and we cannot certify compliance with any framework.

Can you guarantee we will not be breached?+

No, and neither can anyone else. What readiness work does is reduce known exposure and make your answers to outside parties accurate.

Do you build custom software?+

No. We operate and lead technology; we do not build software products.

Which locations do you cover on site?+

We do not publish a coverage map, because implying nationwide on-site presence would be misleading for a new brand. On-site needs are addressed explicitly during scoping.

Commercial

Pricing and process

What does it cost?+

Pricing is scoped after the readiness conversation. It depends on employee count, locations, device count and standardization, identity platform complexity, coverage expectations, and cleanup volume. We publish no rate card because any number before discovery would be invented.

What happens after I submit the assessment?+

You get the recommendation on screen immediately. If you also submit the request form, your details and answers are sent to Kanso IT and read by a person. No response time, meeting, or engagement is promised yet, and analytics events stay anonymous.

Do we have to commit to a long contract?+

Contract length is part of scoping, not a fixed policy. Assessment and roadmap work is naturally shorter than ongoing support.

Can you work alongside our current provider?+

Yes. Fractional leadership engagements frequently exist to hold an existing provider to clear, measurable expectations.

Privacy

Data and tracking

What do you track on this site?+

First-party events only: page paths, event names, anonymous visitor and session identifiers, and campaign parameters if present. No cookies, no fingerprinting, and no third-party analytics.

Where does assessment data go?+

It stays in your browser while you answer — nothing is transmitted as you click through. Data is only sent if you choose to submit the request form at the end.
